Service Leader

Hello, my name is Alex Mahan

Born and raised in Spartanburg, SC, I now live in the Greenville with my wife and two kids. When I’m not working, I’m usually outdoors, playing golf, hiking with my family, or catching live music. I’ve always been drawn to experiences that bring people together, and that same mindset carries into the work I do every day. 

I bring over 15 years of experience leading teams and improving operations across multiple industries, including marketing, finance, and real estate. Throughout my career, I’ve gravitated toward roles that require strong leadership, clear communication, and a willingness to fix what’s not working. Whether I was managing client relationships at a financial institution, running operations in a real estate firm, or leading cross-functional teams in marketing, I’ve learned how to build trust, solve problems, and drive meaningful change.

Today, I serve as the Service Leader at Advisors Insurance Agency, where I focus on strengthening team culture, refining service strategy, and collaborating with both leadership and the service team to improve how we support our clients. My role is about creating clarity, whether that’s through better processes, stronger communication, or simply making sure people have what they need to succeed. 

What motivates me most is helping people do their best work, and creating an environment where that’s possible.
