Motivation

For as long as he can remember, owner David Johansen has been interested in building a strong business. Over the years he has felt a building need to create a business that did more for customers, employees, and the community than what he had seen for much of his career. Starting his own company has been even more fun and rewarding than he could have hoped.

David was raised in Ninety Six, SC where his parents still live. His wife's parents live in Chapin. Starting the company in Greenville has allowed him to be close to family. He loves the feel of the Greenville area. David enjoys experiencing good food from a variety of cultures and Greenville seems to have all of them covered! As a nature lover, David enjoys the many nearby sites that he and his family can explore, particularly the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

What Does the Future Hold?

David’s goal for his business is to have a good-sized team working in the greater Greenville area to help you maintain your homes and businesses. Carolina’s Choice Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning continues to grow and is currently hiring! They proudly invest in the personal and professional development of each employee. He understands that to be the type of company that truly delights customers, the employees must be delighted and engaged too. Their employees facilitate the growth of the company and partake in the rewards of that growth.

David is very thankful for the support of the community and wants to give back as a company. They are currently exploring options on how to best do that. For now, he says they will most likely support existing charities with a combination of donations of money and time.
