Origin Story

The idea of Coastal Crust blossomed through owner Brian Piesner’s Coastal Crust Design business. His concept of refurbishing classic trucks and restoring them back to their original beauty, while outfitting them with custom built wood-burning ovens and beer taps, gave clients the ultimate catering experience and business opportunity. What started as a dream has turned into 3 brick and mortar businesses and 2 catering/mobile eatery trucks!

Locations

Coastal Crust Greenville, located at 1254 Pendleton Street, has been open for over a year now. This location also operates an antique pizza truck for private catered events and weddings. They proudly serve wood-fired pizza, antipasto dishes, salads and more. View their Greenville location menu here. They even offer desserts! Coastal Crust proudly uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, including products from their West Village neighbors Revival Butchery and Naked Pasta.

The original Coastal Crust Pizza Bar in Mount Pleasant, SC shares a property with Vintage Coffee Café, also owned by Piesner. An antique food truck operates out of this location as well. Most recently, their third location opened on James Island in Charleston, SC. 

Why Greenville?

The team at Coastal Crust saw that The Village of West Greenville was an up and coming location right outside the heart of Greenville. Feeling that their concept would fit right into the aesthetic of the West Village, they also felt confident that their antique mobile eatery would capture the hearts of brides to be as a premiere caterer for Weddings.

Due to Covid-19, Coastal Crust launched online ordering. You can place a take-out order through their website! You can even make a secured payment online so all you have to do is show up, grab your order and go. Oh, wait, you have to do one more thing…enjoy that amazing food!
