Paseo Tapas and Wine Bar
Inspired by Tradition, Rooted in Friendship
Paseo Tapas and Wine Bar was born out of friendship, a shared love for hospitality, and the feeling that something was missing. After years of cooking together on Sundays-swapping family recipes, pouring Spanish wine, and turning simple meals into celebrations - Daniel and Camilo realized they were chasing something bigger: a place that felt like home, but one they could share with others.
What brought them together was more than good food-it was a desire to create community. To carve out a space in Greenville where people could slow down, connect, and enjoy the kind of soul-filled experience that usually only happens around a friend’s dinner table.
That spark became Paseo: a warm, welcoming tapas bar built on flavor, friendship, and the belief that the best moments in life are meant to be shared.
Paseo: Community, Tradition, Good Vibes
Paseo isn’t just a tapas bar-it’s a gathering place. Whether you’re meeting friends for a glass of wine, celebrating something special, or flying solo at the bar, you’re always welcome. Daniel and Camilo built Paseo to feel like home: warm, vibrant, and full of connection. They serve up small plates and great wine from their cozy bar-no reservations, no tables, just good energy and even better conversation. Pull up a bar stool, grab some tapas, and settle into the rhythm of the space.
What’s on the menu at Paseo?
The flavors at Paseo are inspired by the time Daniel and Camilo have spent cooking together, sharing stories, and leaning into their heritage. Every dish carries a little bit of their history, and every detail is meant to make you feel something-nostalgia, curiosity, or just pure joy.
At Paseo, they’re serving up a
menu of Spanish-inspired tapas-small plates designed for sharing, snacking, and savoring. Think patatas bravas, pan con tomate, gambas al ajillo and a few surprises that nod to their heritage.
Their wine list is fully Spanish varietals-crisp Albariños, bold Riojas, and some lesser-known gems they are excited to introduce you to. Don’t feel like wine? They’ve got Spanish beer and made-in-house Sangrias that will both refresh and tingle your palate.
Why Greenville?
For Camilo, Greenville is home. A native, he’s watched this city evolve-growing more vibrant, diverse, and full of flavor, while keeping its small-town soul. For Daniel, Greenville is where he built his hospitality career from the ground up-finding community, opportunity, and inspiration at every turn.
Daniel and Camilo love Greenville because it celebrates the things they care about most: connection, creativity, and unforgettable food. The energy downtown, the local pride, the way strangers become friends over a great meal-it all makes this city special!
“That’s why Paseo lives at The Commons, right in the heart of it all. We’re proud to be part of a space that champions local makers and brings people together around the table (or in our case, the bar). Greenville gave us the spark-Paseo is how we give back” states Camilo.
